Dark, mysterious but colourful, this gorgeous necklace feature handmade lampwork beads, with colourful patterns that remind me of dragon scale.

 First I twisted several meters of sterling silver then wire wrapped it onto thicker sterling silver wire to form a frame around the bead. I hand sew tiny gemstone of citrine,labradorite, amethyst, garnet, peridot and aqua quartz  with fine sterling silver wire to form a cluster and add detail. The pendant hangs from an 18” trace chain and was oxidised and polish to harden the silver and add to that mysterious feel.
